The Projects
The DIADEM PEPR is structured according to different types of project:
- A governance project responsible for the overall coordination of the PEPR, monitoring targeted projects and projects financed under calls for projects, setting up training actions and international initiatives.
- 17 targeted projects designed to set up a network of platforms distributed throughout France. These are also demonstration projects designed to demonstrate the capacity of these platforms to accelerate the discovery of new materials.
- Projects funded under the 2 calls for projects :
- The 2023 call was a full-scale survey of the dynamism of scientific communities, the themes not yet covered by DIADEM, and potential interactions with pre-existing accelerated discovery platforms. Following evaluation by an independent international jury, 17 new projects were selected for funding.
- The 2024 call was launched in June 2024 and will fund between 15 and 18 new projects. Most of these projects will make use of DIADEM’s network of platforms, as well as artificial intelligence methodologies and tools. The diversification of themes will be pursued.
