The 1st General Assembly of PEPR DIADEM was held in Bordeaux from November 6 to 8, 2023.
With nearly 130 participants, this consortium meeting provided an opportunity to take stock of the 17 targeted projects and the establishment of the “DIADEM Discovery Hub”, the network of high-speed synthesis and characterization, modeling and database platforms. program data. 15 projects have already started and the last 2 will be launched by early 2024.
Sessions on different themes were also scheduled, including:
– the establishment of the call for expressions of interest in training during 2024 to offer innovative training programs for the materials science community
– ongoing initiatives to open the PEPR DIADEM internationally and bring about synergies with existing programs on a European and global scale
– a specific session on the DIAMOND project, a central project for the management of data produced within the framework of the PEPR DIADEM and the implementation of AI approaches.
